M6 overnight closures for resurfacing works
Drivers heading north on the M6 from Carlisle will face overnight closures next week as essential resurfacing work gets underway. The northbound carriageway will be shut from our city all the way up to the Scottish border, so plan your journeys accordingly!
The northbound carriageway from Carlisle to the Scotland border will shut from 20:00 BST next week.
